Chord Progression Builder
Builds chord progressions in any of the 12 major or 12 minor keys from style presets — pop (I-V-vi-IV), the 50s progression (I-vi-IV-V), 12-bar blues, jazz ii-V-I, the Andalusian cadence, doo-wop — or from custom roman-numeral input like "I vi ii V7". For each chord it shows the roman numeral, the concrete chord name and the notes it contains, and plays the whole progression as block chords through the Web Audio API with a tempo slider. A randomize button generates a fresh diatonic progression by walking a plausible functional-harmony chain from tonic through subdominant and dominant back to tonic.

Notes
- All pitch math assumes twelve-tone equal temperament, the tuning of pianos, guitars and digital instruments; notes a semitone apart are treated as exactly equivalent.
- Enharmonic spelling follows the usual convention: sharps in sharp keys, flats in flat keys, so the same pitch may appear as F# in one context and Gb in another.
- Minor keys use the harmonic-minor dominant by default: V is played as a major chord (raised leading tone), as it almost always is in practice.
- Everything runs locally in your browser; your files are never uploaded to any server.
