Notes
- The conversion engine (ffmpeg compiled to WebAssembly, about 25 MB) is downloaded from a CDN on first use, then cached by your browser. H.264, VP8/VP9, MPEG-4 and most common codecs are supported; AV1 is not.
- WAV and FLAC are lossless; MP3, OGG and AAC are lossy. Converting between two lossy formats re-encodes and loses a little quality each time, so keep a lossless master when you can.
- Everything runs locally in your browser; your files are never uploaded to any server.
