Extract Audio from Video illustration

Extract Audio from Video

Extracts the audio track from a video file (MP4, WebM, MOV, MKV and more) and saves it as MP3, WAV, FLAC or OGG, with an optional copy mode that keeps the original track untouched when the container allows it.

Runs 100% in your browser — your files never leave your device.

Notes

  • The conversion engine (ffmpeg compiled to WebAssembly, about 25 MB) is downloaded from a CDN on first use, then cached by your browser. H.264, VP8/VP9, MPEG-4 and most common codecs are supported; AV1 is not.
  • Everything runs locally in your browser; your files are never uploaded to any server.
