Swiss Pairing Generator
Pairs the next round of a Swiss tournament from the current standings: players meet opponents on the same score whenever possible, rematches are avoided by backtracking, unpaired players float down a group, and the bye goes to the lowest-scored player who has not had one yet.

Notes
- Pairing runs top-down with backtracking: each player gets the highest-ranked opponent they have not met. This is the standard club approach; it does not implement every FIDE color and float rule.
- When a score group has an odd size, its last player "floats" and is paired into the group below — the pairing table flags every float explicitly.
