Cycling Speed & Power Calculator
Solves the full cycling power equation — aerodynamic drag, rolling resistance, gravity on the grade and drivetrain loss — in either direction: watts needed for a target speed, or speed produced by a target power. Choose riding position (CdA preset), road surface (Crr preset), altitude for air density, grade and drivetrain loss, and see exactly where your watts go.

Notes
- Above ~30 km/h on the flat, aerodynamic drag is the large majority of resistance, and it grows with the cube of speed.
- CdA presets are typical values; real CdA varies ±15% with body size and kit.
- Still air assumed. A headwind changes the aero term to (v + w)² and dwarfs everything else.
- Educational estimate for sport and training purposes, not professional coaching or medical advice.
