Notes
- Based on the WHO Child Growth Standards (2006), which describe how healthy children grow under optimal conditions — the same curves printed in most child health booklets.
- A single measurement matters less than the trend: a child consistently on the 15th percentile is usually fine, while crossing several percentile bands warrants a check-up.
- Under 2 years, length is measured lying down; from 2 years, standing height (about 0.7 cm less) is used. The WHO curves account for this step.
