Passer Rating Calculator

Completed passes. Completion rate is the first of the four rating components.

Pass attempts (sacks do not count). Every component of the rating is a per-attempt rate, so this is the common denominator.

Gross passing yards. Yards per attempt is the second rating component; it can go negative on a bad day.

Touchdown passes thrown. Touchdown rate is the third rating component.

Interceptions thrown — the only negative component. Each one costs heavily on a per-attempt basis.
