Blood Alcohol Estimator illustration

Blood Alcohol Estimator

Estimates blood alcohol concentration with the Widmark formula from drinks consumed, body weight, sex and hours elapsed, with a decay chart and the time until common legal limits are reached.

One standard drink ≈ 330 ml beer, 100 ml wine or 30 ml spirits.
10 g is the common definition; UK units are 8 g, US drinks 14 g.

Notes

  • Widmark: BAC = grams of alcohol / (body weight × r), minus 0.015 % per hour; r ≈ 0.68 for men, 0.55 for women.
  • Real absorption depends on food, medication, and individual metabolism. Never use this to decide whether you can drive — if you drank, don't.
  • This is an educational estimate, not medical advice; consult a professional for decisions about your health.
