RSA Sign & Verify illustration

RSA Sign & Verify

Creates a digital signature over a message with an RSA private key (RSA-PSS) and verifies it with the public key. A signature proves the message came from the key holder and was not altered — the basis of code signing, TLS certificates and JWT RS256.

Runs 100% in your browser — keys and data never leave your device.

Notes

  • Signing uses the private key; verifying uses the public key — the reverse of encryption. Anyone can verify, only the key holder can sign.
  • RSA-PSS adds randomized padding and is the modern recommendation over deterministic PKCS#1 v1.5 signatures.
