Blackjack Strategy & EV Explorer
Generates the mathematically correct basic strategy for your exact table rules — decks, soft-17 rule, doubling restrictions, double after split, late surrender and blackjack payout — by exact recursive enumeration of every dealer outcome. Three heatmap charts (hard totals, soft totals, pairs) show the best action for every hand, hovering any cell reveals the EV of each action, and the house edge for the chosen rules is computed live.

Notes
- EVs come from a fixed-composition shoe model: your two cards and the upcard are removed, then every dealer outcome is enumerated exactly. This is the standard model behind published basic-strategy charts.
- The dealer is assumed to peek for blackjack (American rules); split EVs use one split, no resplits, and split aces receive one card each.
- Moving from 3:2 to 6:5 blackjack costs about 1.4% extra house edge — more than every other rule on this page combined.
- Gambling math is informational only, not betting advice. Gambling involves risk of loss; only play with money you can afford to lose, and only if you are 18+ (or of legal age where you live).
